Al-Masāq: Journal of the Medieval Mediterranean is a peer reviewed, international journal covering all aspects of Mediterranean societies and cultures from the fifth to the fifteenth centuries CE. As the journal of the Society for the Medieval Mediterranean, it aims to foster cross-cultural and inter-disciplinary investigation, encouraging debate on the intercommunal and transregional crosspollination within the Medieval Mediterranean, and promoting innovatory research.
